Antea Foundation, Rome: Caring for Patients with Incurable Diseases

Created in 1987 as an association and transformed into a foundation in 2020, Antea is dedicated to supporting people who are terminally ill or suffering from incurable diseases. It offers invaluable support to families in distress by providing either palliative care at home, with the necessary medical equipment, or by accommodating patients in one of its 30 modern rooms, each with a private bathroom.

The Cuomo Foundation recently responded favorably to a request from the Antea Foundation. The aid granted will enable the organization to acquire a new electric vehicle, reinforcing the "Ancora più vicino" program. This vehicle will facilitate the work of the care teams, bringing them "even closer" to patients and their families.
